Only a short three and a half years from here to HIroshima. Only a short two decades from US failure to join and empower the League of Nations till Pearl Harbor. Only a short decade from 1919 till Japan was allowed to set up Manchukuo taking back what it surrendered back to Russia following the Russo-Japanese War of 1905 (via the secret Taft-Katsura Agreement) and thus gaining the Nobel Peace Prize for Teddy Roosevelt by cynically granting Japan control over Korea.
