Join us for a town hall about why nuclear power is not a solution to the climate crisis and is a bad idea for Pueblo and Colorado. We will hear from our keynote speaker, Arjun Makhijani, and host a panel discussion moderated by local environmental justice advocate, Jamie Valdez and with internationally renowned experts in various related fields, including; Cindy Folkers, Ed Lyman, David Shlissel, and Shaina Oliver.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Makhijani, is President of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research in Takoma Park, Maryland. A recognized authority on energy issues, Dr. Makhijani is the author and co-author of numerous reports and books on energy and environment related issues.

A question & answer session will follow the panelist presentations.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.
